Here's Joe's Mothers birthday card.  She is celebrating her 100th birthday on the 17th.  We leave in the morning to help her celebrate and then on to Minnesota which is the only state I have not been to  so I can check that off my bucket list.

This was my shoe box card.  The pink on the package and the inside is washi tape.

Here's an easy fun fold card.  The stamps are in a Hostess set by StampinUp that was gifted to me.  Love this funky bird! I'll have to look up what the fold is called.

Friday, September 8, 2017

I was working on some pop up cards.  Here's one of them.

Thursday, September 7, 2017

I received this  pretty swap card from Liz. .I like it and the way she jazzed up a plain white panel.  Took it to the next level.

Wednesday, September 6, 2017

I am going to have to learn some new things about this computer.  My pictures don't show as pictures.  I'll have to see how I get them to come up.  Here's a card I received from a swap I am in.  Sharon made this one and I think it cute.
My old computer is in purgatory!  YEA!  The files have been copied and I will pick up the drive (I think) this afternoon & put it on the new computer  this afternoon so I'll post then.  No guarantees but that's the plan!

Tuesday, September 5, 2017

This card I made for one of my swaps.  The die is from Impression Obsession which has a matching stamp set.  Quite a challenge to stamp and cut.  I think it will take some practice.

Friday, September 1, 2017

This is a card I received from a swap I participate in.  I believe Marcy made it.  Very nice card.

Thursday, August 31, 2017

Here are a couple more spinner cards.  If you get the pennies placed just right they really spin.  Such a fun card to make.

Wednesday, August 30, 2017

Here;s a spinner card I made.  Love this cute little bird.

Tuesday, August 29, 2017

I have a new computer and don''t have  my pictures loaded on it yet.  Hopefully I will be up and running by tomorrow.

Monday, August 28, 2017

For some reason I could not get on to post this morning.  Don't know why.  Anyway, here is a spinner card that I made.  They fascinate me.  I found this small scrap of paper,  Love this tiny checked paper.  If I ever find it again I will buy a ream!

Friday, August 25, 2017

This is a Dutch Door card that Pam made for shoe box.  love this cow!  I need to get some cards loaded & start working on my Sept. birthdays, hopefully this weekend.

Thursday, August 24, 2017

Here's a card I made with a new die I got from Papertrey Ink.  Not so sure I will use it much.  I saw a card I really liked using this die but now I can't find it again.  I think I would like it better just embossed as a focal point on the front of a card.  I'll try that soon.

Wednesday, August 23, 2017

Here's another version of the pop up butterfly that I did for shoe box.  I have had a lot of fun with this swallowtail butterfly.

Tuesday, August 22, 2017

Here's another card I made for shoe box.  I have had my eyes on this cover a card die for a long time. I used spray adhesive to adhere it to my card.  Easy and effective!

Monday, August 21, 2017

This is one of the cards I did for shoe box this month.  I bought this die for my Christmas cards last year and have made a couple of cards using it.  I really like the gingham curtain and thought it would be a perfect get well card.

Friday, August 18, 2017

This is a card that Sharon did for our shoe box group this month using oxide inks.  I'm too heavy handed when I tried.  Definitely need to practice.

Thursday, August 17, 2017

This pretty card was done by Julie for shoe box.  I did not get a good picture of it.  It's a nice design.  The carpet is in and the floors are prepped and hopefully we will get everything back together by the weekend.

Wednesday, August 16, 2017

I did this card using Winnie & Walter's Happy  die.  I like it but glitter is a messy.  I saw someplace that the swifter cloths is an easy clean up for glitter and it really does work.

Tuesday, August 15, 2017

This was a bookmark card I made for my friend Lorraine for her birthday.  There's light @ the end of the tunnel.  We get the flooring put in today and will be finished tomorrow so I'll be able to get the house put back in order.  For us neat freaks this has been a real undertaking.

Monday, August 14, 2017

I did this card for my smaller shoe box.  I used my favorite washi tape on this one.

Friday, August 11, 2017

Pam brought this card to share for shoe box.  Nice design. Cute littlr bird.

Thursday, August 10, 2017

This card was done by Sharon for shoe box. She says she has problems with masculine cards . . . I don't think so!

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Pam did this card for shoe box.  Such a petty flower & unusual design.  Had trouble with the internet connection this morning so that's why the late Post.

Tuesday, August 8, 2017

This card was one I did for my swap.  This Magenta stamp was one I bought when I first started making cards.  I like this layout and have not done anything like it for a long time.

Monday, August 7, 2017

Here's the birthday card I did for Bo's 3rd birthday.  He loved shaking it & carried it everywhere for days.  We just visited them.  I know why you have babies when you are young!  They are so cute but a hand full.

Friday, August 4, 2017

This was a card I made as my swap card.  I rarely use this card stock.  Off to Oklahoma City to see the great GRANDS.  Such sweet little guys.

Thursday, August 3, 2017

This was a swap card.  I like the simplicity of this one.

Wednesday, August 2, 2017

I was surfing Pinterest and saw a card similar to this so I decided to give it a try.  My CASED cards never look like the one I started trying to copy but this one is close.  I made it in and darker blue and lipstick oxide ink and like them all.

Tuesday, August 1, 2017

I made this shaker card for Sara for her birthday.  Fun foam sure makes shaker cards easier.

Monday, July 31, 2017

Here's another version of Tulle.  Can't see too well in photo but I put it behind the die cut.  Looks nice in real time.  I used  lipstick & marmalade oxide inks  & die cut it.

Friday, July 28, 2017

Sharon did this beautiful background using oxide inks  and the new dragonfly dies set from StampinUp.  I need to get out these inks and play again.

Thursday, July 27, 2017

This card is one that Pam made for our shoe box group.  I like this paper.

Wednesday, July 26, 2017

Sharon did this card for shoe box.  Great paper and the horse stamp is gorgeous
.

Tuesday, July 25, 2017

I forgot to tell you that the things I ordered from Winnie & Walter came tied with bakers twine with a small stamped image and a hand written note thanking me for my order.  FIRST CLASS!!
This is my third  butterfly card that I did for shoe box.  I used the StampinUp Swallowtail stamp.  I like the "in flight" look of  this. That was achieved  by gluing the body only  to the bottom one and using two pop ups together. The silver embossing is beautiful in real life.  Washi tape finishes it off.  I must tell you about a new company that I ordered some dies & stencils from.  It is Winnie & Walter.  The dies came with a magnetic strip.  Much better than the double sided tape  that is so hard to get the die off of.   That's much better because that is the way I store my dies.  A big plus. I ordered on Thurs., shipped on Fri. & I got it yesterday.  On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd say 12!  I'll use them again! Great company!

Monday, July 24, 2017

My cards for shoe box were all butterflies.  Here's my second one.  A butterfly shaker card.

Friday, July 21, 2017

This was one of my shoe box cards. First I spritzed watercolor paper with water and then used the new oxide inks to create a background.  then used the die to cut out .  I used the left overs to stamp the greeting and cut that out with the "clean up" die from the StampinUp Floral thinlets.  I stamped the butterfly and then used dobbers to color the butterfly.  Wink of Stella was put on the butterfly.  Looks better in real time.  For some reason the Stella does not photograph well.

Thursday, July 20, 2017

This was one of my swap cards I made last month.  I saw a card on
Pinterest that I cased.  I think the way they ran the striped paper was interesting so I scrounged my stash of striped paper and made the card. Had to put on my thinking cap because I had only two sheets of 6x6 paper & did not want to mess it up!

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

I never get tired of this stamp set.  It is one I bought when I first started stamping.  It's StampinUp and has been retired forever.  The birthday is also retired or the company is out of business, I'm not sure.

Tuesday, July 18, 2017

Here's a card that Pam made for shoe box.  I had to redo my twine on my card because it was all wonky.
