I made this background  using a grunge stamp.  This stamp  set is terrible.  I  could not get it stamped with out a shadow.  I ended up cutting the  rubber way back on each stamp.  Two minuses  for StampinUp, I have trouble sticking their stamps on acrylic blocks and their cling stamps are not cut  to prevent the shadows.  Don't know how much card stock I have ruined because of these problems.Next time I order from Amazon I am going to get a Tombo Mono Sand Eraser.  I believe it was Jennifer McGuire that said she has been successful in using it to remove the shadows.  Shoe box S
at. and my cards are done.  A first  for  me!!  Looks like I should have taken a black pen and brought the stem up to meet the flower.  Too late.  It was mailed a long time ago.

This card was made for one of my swaps.  It's a Hero Arts stamp called stripes & dots.  I used it to make a card that I showed you on March 23rd.  Looks totally different.  I seem to be into sequins @ the moment.

Another stamp I have not used in awhile.  Brown sugar and red.  I really do like this stamp.

Monday, March 28, 2016

I haven't used this stamp in a long time.  You can't see it in the picture but I used Stickles in the center of the flowers.  Looks better than the photo shows.  Today we are going blue bonnet hunting over by Mason.  I am looking forward to this outing!

This glitter paper and the balloon die were speaking to me!  Love, love, love this die! The color  matches the Lost Lagoon paper very well.  Thought for the day that I I just saw this on pinterest Why buy something for $7 when you can make it with the $95 supplies you already have.  I think I have  a  few  friends that, along with me, that this fits us all to a T! Big smile!

I have used this color before using the Kensington Branch/  This time I added a decorative border die to spruce it up a bit.  I can see light @ the end of the tunnel with the recipe project YEA!

Wednesday, March 23, 2016

I had never used this Hero Arts stamp set.  I colored it with markers.  I was happy with the results.
It is called Dots & Stripes.

Tuesday, March 22, 2016

This is my last Texas card.  I stamped it and then colored  it like a Texas flag.  Changed the whole look of this stamp.  Plugging away @ the "recipe"  project.  Working on cakes now.  That's the last of the "big" categories.  It's gonna feel really great when I'm done.

Here is a Texas themed card that I did.  I always like the results when I use this stamp (borrowed from Denise).  I used Kaleidacolor Creole Spice stamp pad.

Another blue bonnet card.  Just used a different saying.

Thursday, March 17, 2016

I saw this card on the Dead Beat Designs site & CASED it.  The little hat is a stamp I borrowed from Denise.  The blue bonnets are  dies
 also borrowed from Denise.

OOPS I forgot to post the last shoe box card that Denise
made.  Love this flower.

Tuesday, March 15, 2016

Blue Bonnets will soon be here.  Mine don't have to be watered!  Dies and a stamp is all you need.

Monday, March 14, 2016

Since I want to see blue bonnets very badly I am going to show you some Texas themed cards I made and put in the gift shop.  This first one is a Texana Design stamp that I borrowed from  Denise.  Loved it so much I bought it.  Don't you love the saying?

Friday, March 11, 2016

This is the last of our shoe box cards from February.  Pam made this one.  Looks like I need to straighten it up also. Shoe box is tomorrow & I have my cards done.    I am ready for bluebonnets!  The rain we are getting will surely make them spectacular this year.
I made some Texas cards that I put in the gift shop. I will be showing you them next week.

Isn't this a great masculine card.  Denise designed it for shoe box.  I really do like it.  Love the paisley paper.

Wednesday, March 9, 2016

Sharon made this card for our shoe box group. This is a nice layout.  Looks like I need to straighten up the tree layer.  We had three brown and green cards.  That hardly ever happens.  Worked yesterday on my recipes again.  Sure is time consuming.  Reminded me of some good recipes that I haven't made in a long time.

Tuesday, March 8, 2016

Pam designed this card for our shoe box group.  We popped it up using fun foam.  That was a new idea for me.  It made the pop up more uniform and it's cheap too!

Monday, March 7, 2016

This is a card that Denise made for shoe box.  Love the bright colors.

Sunday, March 6, 2016

Sharon made this card for shoe box.  I know just who will get this card for his birthday!

Friday, March 4, 2016

I used this card as my second shoe box card.  First we sponged shabby shutters on the tree branches then came in with peeled paint and stamped the leaves.  Play day today.  Going pot hunting for some  thing to plant some snap dragons in then some place for lunch.  Love it when Joe comes up with good ideas like this!

Thursday, March 3, 2016

Here's my shoe box card.  I saw this on the internet and thought I can do that!.  Couldn't find the saying.  I knew it was unmounted and then a couple of days later I was looking for another saying and there it was in plain sight.  Hate when that happens.  Oops, looks like I did not get a photo with the saying.  It says Fluttering by with best wishes.

This is another simple card.  DS and a punch.  Love this paper!  Pool Party is not a paper I use a  lot but works well for this card.  The birthday blessings is a clear stamp that I have had forever.  Love the font & use it a lot.

Tuesday, March 1, 2016

Here's a really simple card I made using patterned paper & my ribbon die.  I like the looks of this one and can imagine it in several different colors.  We got some bad news about our friend Ginnie yesterday so I ended up making a couple of cards for her.
