Another thinking of you card. This one is pretty simple, just a few layers. The colors are Marina Mist and white. I have a couple of cards to do for some Auxiliary members who are under the weather. I'm going to try to get them done today & grocery shopping is on my agenda.

This card was made for the Sunshine committee. I stamped the stamp with crumb cake ink. Then I colored the flowers with pink watercolor pencil, the stems in brown and lightly colored the leaves green. The butterflies were added because I had a couple of ink smudges. I know that is a hazard with cling mount stamps but sometimes I forget to check. I rarely show the inside of cards, don't know why because I never leave them bare. Anyway I am showing you the inside today.

I made this card for a friend who had a partial hip replacement. I am not usually an orange person but I like this Tangerine Tango color and I have a Marvie Matchable ink that is really close. Y'all know how much I like that!. The stamp is StampinUp. I have never done a half circle to add my sentiment but it was laying on my desk so why not. I kinda like the look.

I made this birthday card for a friend. I embossed the background paper but you can't really see it. I have done that before with success but not this time. I'll have to experiment some more. I can remember doing that with the Swiss Dots folder. CAN you see the white feather I added for texture? I don't do that too often.

I made some cards for the Sunshine Committee yesterday. Here is one of them. I bought these flowers in a package in the dollar bin @ Michel's. This Apricot paper is long retired from StampinUp.

This is my swap card that I made for my larger group. I didn't put any saying on it. I like to have some blank cards that I can add a sentiment to for sending out a quick card. This says "feel better" or "thinking of you" to me. That's the last of this ribbon. I'm trying not to buy any ribbon until I use up what I have. That'll be the day huh??

Here is my shoe box card. Pretty simple. I seem to be doing more really simple cards these days. The cupcake is a cl
ear Hero Arts stamp.

Here's a sympathy card I made. It did not turn out as well as I thought when I had it in my mind. I have a busy day today with shoe box this afternoon. Did not accomplish much yesterday. This cedar fever is dragging me down.

I made this get well card for the Auxiliary. Again I am using some scrap DS paper.

Monday, January 20, 2014

I am making some get well and sympathy cards for the auxiliary. Here's one I did this weekend. I need to get some more done by Thurs. but football and cleaning got in the way. I love this die. Tiffany frame by Memory Box. I just bought a butterfly die that is also Memory Box. I want to find time to play with that one this week.

This is my other shoe box card from Sat. Pretty simple. The stamp is from Endless Creations. I like this font a lot.

Wednesday, January 15, 2014

We had shoe box here on Sat. and I made this card. I saw the layout on Pinterest. It is pretty simple but I like the way it turned out.

I made this birthday card for one of my Jan. birthdays. There are not too many Jan. birthdays but I need to get some cards made for the Sunshine Committee.

Here's a thank you card I made. Not a very good picture. I'm thinking I probably should have added another layer of the not quite navy to emboss the flower. Too late it is already mailed.

Thursday, January 9, 2014

Here's the card Denise designed for our shoe box group. The background embossing folder is Sizzix and the stamps and dies are from StampinUp. The dies and stamps were easy to place and use. Denise put the saying under the snowflake but I got my snowflake down too low so I had to put it on the side. Hers looked better!

We made this card in one of my shoe box groups. Julie designed it. Colors are vanilla and not quite navy. Not a very good picture but a very nice design.

Tuesday, January 7, 2014

I made this thank you card for a friend who gave me a gift card. Very simple and I was able to use a scrap piece of gold paper. I have so much scrap paper. I think I am going to go through it and toss most of it and start new.

Monday, January 6, 2014

I made this card for a January swap. Navy & green. Printed paper and stamps by StampinUp. I don't have many Jan. birthdays this month. That's good because I am working on a couple of projects for the gift shop. These two projects are carry overs from the last two years. Now that I am not @ the point several days a week I will have time to do some things that I have been wanting to do. I have been cleaning closets and drawers. Still a long way to go on that! I'd rather read and I want to do some knitting.

Friday, January 3, 2014

I made spiced almonds as thank you gifts. Here's how I packaged them using StampinUp die and stamp. They really work well.

Thursday, January 2, 2014

When we did shoe box Denise lent me a new stamp & die set from StampinUp. I needed to send a note so I made this card. The punch is a Martha Steward.

Today I am posting our Christmas card. It is a side step card. I got some really nice comments on this one. Best wishes for a healthy, happy 2014.
