I made this thank you card recently. Pretty quick and easy the stamp is a Hero Arts that I have had for a long time.

I hope you had a nice Christmas. Ours was nice. We went to Austin to visit with our daughter who is home from Oman. I bought this Hero Arts background stamp. I used this as one of my shoe box cards. I tried it in red and did not like it. I decided to use this never before seen stamp pad called Spiced Marmalade. I bought it because I saw something done with this pad that I really liked and then forgot about it and now have no idea what that was all about. I do like the way this turned out.

Here's my swap card. Another color on color card. The snow flake is a Cuttlebug folder. I used a light blue stamp pad to go around the out side edge but I bet that does not show up in the picture.

I made this card as one one my shoe box cards. The stamp is Magenta. I like the look of color on color. When I do that it is usually white or ivory.

Here's another blue and white birthday card I made for one of my Dec. birthdays. The stamps are a retired StampinUp set. The punch is Martha Stewart.

Here's my swap card that I made for Dec. I have been seeing a lot of doilies used on cards and I decided to use one on this card.

I tried to do a technique on this card that I have done in the past. I Versamarked a piece of card stock and then embossed with silver powder. I did this three times and then stamped happy birthday while the powder was still hot. It did not work as well as I thought it would so I just stamped the happy birthday on a piece of white card stock and glued it on. When I did it before I used a flower and another time I used a butterfly stamp. I think I used Ultra thick embossing powder way back then. I don't have any now so I probably should have done the process a couple more times. The ribbon is more silver in real time.

Here's Ally's birthday card. I got out this Great Impressions stamp to make this card. Pink Pirouette is a nice soft pink that I am liking more and more.

I am hoping I can post today. Joe worked on my computer and I think he has fixed it. I am having a luncheon today and I sent this invitation to 7 ladies. Of course I saw something similar on Pinterest. I spend way to much time looking @ things on that site.

I have computer problems again. Mon. I could not get the screen to come on. Joe did a restore and now I have a screen but none of my apps or bookmarks. I can't find my pictures of cards so I can post. He is in town today trying to find someone to come out and help with this problem. If it's like the plumber, that we are waiting on since thanksgiving to put a new hose on the sprayer faucet I won't expect much response. fortunately we have a smaller sink in the kitchen that I can use. Ever cook a Thanksgiving meal with a sink so small you can barely fit a dinner plate in?? Not fun! Stay tuned!

I made this birthday card for an Aux. member. Colors are white and Rose. I love this Tiffany Frame die even though it is a pain to get out of the die and glueing takes patience. I need to get some cards made. Today I will try to do that since I am house bound with the predicted cold ra
in and sleet.

Here's my swap card for my smaller group. This cute stamp is Penny Black. I added the white layer to lighten it up. That made a big difference. Colors are gray, black, rose red and white. sare

I made this birthday card last week. Baja Breeze and black. I used stickles for the center of the flowers. Love the checked ribbon.

Here's the birthday card I made for Trev. His birthday was Thanksgiving day. Doesn't happen very often but he hated that when he was child. A tradition @ our house was you got to order what you wanted for dinner on your birthday. Needless to say we did not have turkey when that happened. I used my smallest hexagon die for the paterened paper. Showed up better in real time.

Another thank you card in purple, black & white. I don't think this stamp has ever seen ink. It's StampinUp. I got most of my early Dec. birthday cards done and have the components done for 20 Christmas cards. I hope to get those put together today.
