Here is my Thanksgiving card. I love the colors on this one. I used alchol inks and a stipple brush to do the leaves. Can you see the bling on the leaves? I bought them @ Michaels. They are herringbone. Love them! This Fri night & Sat is the bazaar so I may be missing in action this week. I will try to post the early Nov. birthdays cards I made this weekend. I made a couple of winners, at least in my opinion.

This is a better picture of the wind chime I made. I didn't want to show it because pictures don't lie and I am a fat old lady! You can see the clear beads on the wings much better. I have a lot of Nov. birthdays so I'll be busy this weekend baking for the bazaar and making cards.

I made this card for Honey for her 87th birthday. She's a great person. This pumpkin stamp is a unmounted stamp so I have no idea who made it. The pumpkins are embossed with Adirondack powder that I bought a long time ago. The Happy Birthday stamp was a little tricky to stamp because it is one stamp. I did this by inking the stamp and then wiping off the birthday part. Colors are eggplant, moss and butterscotch which goes well with the StampinUp colors, more mustard, old olive and eggplant.

Here's a thank you note I made for Royce because she let me borrow a stamp. I am certainly ready for fall! This is a stamp and die set from Heartfelt Creations. I had pretty good luck stamping and then placing the die down for cutting. My friend told me she used a stamp a majig after she die cut her leaf. That didn't work as well for me. I always stamp on a yellow legal pad so I stamped the leaf on that, then ligned up my die cut leaf on top of that and then stamped the die. I held it down with a post it note. I colored the leaves with chalk.

Here's a picture of the wind chime that I put in the gift shop & it sold that week. The box grater was in the storage room down @ the point. Joe spray painted it for me. It has a very pleasant sound. Someone gave me the clear plastic beads that are hanging from the butterfly wings. The butterfly was rusty and hanging on my patio & Joe sprayed that too.See the thing that is second from the left. That is a clip on earring that I sprayed silver too. It's fun to repurpose things!

This is my third card project that I did for Pam's sleep over. I really didn't like it until I used Glossy Accents on the front. That perked it up! The stamp is DeNami that I bought @ the last convention I attended. I have never used it. I probably bought it because I liked how they had used it. Of course when I got home I could not remember what they had done.

Here's a VA card I made. The colors are way out there arean't they? I tried to case a card I made a while back. The colors were celery and brown. Well casing is not my strong suite I guess because the proportions are way off. I hope the recipient had sun glasses!

This is a card I did @ Pam's stamp camp. We were ask to bring a stamp and a 12x12 piece of paper. We passed the stamp to the left and the paper to the right and what we ended up with, we were ask to make a card. Pam put a bunch of embellishments in the middle of the table and we could used anything in there. She gave us an housr to do the card. It didn't take an hour for any of us. I love this duck from Penny Black. I got this saying in a swap from Royce. On the inside it says Happy Birthday (Belatedly)

As you are well aware, a photographer I am not. I'm sure my picture of this card will not do it justice. I ask Marcy if it was OK for me to post this spectacular card. The background and the leaves were made using Alchol inks. The glimmer mist adds just the right touch. I love every aspect of this card. Marcy told me these stamps and dies are from Heartfelt Creations. She also told me that she die cut the leaves & then used a stamp positioner to stamp. Why didn't

I am off on another busy week. I made some fall cards yesterday that I really like & finished a couple of scarves for the bazaar. The card I am posting is another one for the VA guys. Pretty simple but I liked it. The Candi's were added because I had a dab of ink on the tan. I colored them with a marker.

I made a couple of Halloween items for the gift shop. The witch hat centerpiece sold in 5 minutes from placing it in the gift shop. I posted the wreath earlier but I was not happy with it so I added some spider webs, spiders and some yarn. Now I think it looks better.

Here's my shoe box card for Sept. Very simple because I had gone to a meeting that morning and expected to be home by 10:30. Well, I got home @ 12:00 and had to put a card together by 1. Soft Suede and Certainly Celery with a funky flower. We used markers to color the flower. Last Minute Linda! I have resolved not to do that again - - - we'll see.

WOW I had 13 birthday cards to make for the VA this month. I worked 2 days to get them done because one is due tomorrow and 3 on Wed. I made 7 on Sun. and struggled to finish them yesterday. Sun. the ideas flowed, then yesterday I couldn't design anything I liked. I do a lot of looking on Pinterest to get ideas. Sometimes its a color combo I like & other times it is a layout that catches my eye. My cards never look like the one I am trying to case. Normally I don't have the stamp or the embellishment so I try to use what I have. Here's on I like a lot.I really love this embossing folder and the round birthday stamp is a Hero Arts clear stamp. It stamps very well.

Happy birthday to my sister!! Here's a birthday card I made for my twin sister. The stamp is Stampendous. The glitz doesn't show up in the photo as well as it does in real time. The embossing folder is suttle but nice I think. I colored the "Candi" dots with a marker.
Here is one of my swap cards for this month. I love this bird stamp & decided to perk him up with a feather for his tail. I have used brown & mustard or brown and orange a lot in the past couple of weeks in my card making. The crackle background stamp is one I have had for a long time. The wood is all stained from all the use. It is by Copper Leaf Creations in New Mexico. Yes, I am ready for fall & cooler weather! I enjoyed the rain this weekend and got a lot accomplished in the last couple of days. Now I can do some of the fun crafty things I want to finish for the bazaar.
